KLM Interinsulair Bedrijf (KLM-IIB) is an airline based in the Dutch East Indies (now Indonesia) and a predecessor to Garuda Indonesia.

Histori
Established on 1 August 1947 as a subsidiary of KLM (due to dissolution of KNILM), and all aircraft in the KNILM fleet were then transferred to KLM-IIB. They also received 20 Dakota aircraft, which were previously operated by KNIL.
Based in Java, their destination consists of domestic routes (in Indonesia) as well as international routes (such as Singapore, British Malaya, and the Philippines), operated by several Dakotas and 9 consulate aircraft PBY Catalina amphibians.

Nationalization by the Indonesian government
On December 28, 1949, KLM-IIB was nationalized by the Government of Indonesia, as approved by the Indonesian and Dutch governments during the 1949 Dutch-Indonesian Round Table Conference. After nationalization, the airline renamed Garuda Indonesian Airways , and remained to this day.
