S.O.S (short for Sensation of Stage ) is an Indonesian women's group whose members consist of the finalists of the Galaxy Superstar talent show. The group was formed by YS Media Entertainment and received training for several months from Rainbowbridge Agency, South Korea-based K-pop Artist Incubation Company.

Pre-Debut
Prior to their debut, they were finalists of the Galaxy Superstar that aired on Indosiar TV. Two members, Mary and Yeye, qualify for the top 11 and undergo training in South Korea. In the middle of the show, Mary had to be eliminated and therefore, back to Indonesia. Yeye was left out to be the longest living member on the show, even though she did not win the show. After the Galaxy Superstar talent show ended, YS Media Entertainment reassembled the 20 Superstar Galaxy finalists including Anggi, Andi Adisty, Sania, and Febrianty plus Yeye and Mary, then sent six of them in Korea to undergo training under Korean management Rainbow Bridge Agent during more than a year. They are in training in terms of vocals, dance, attitudes and so on until they are ready to debut. In Korea, they are intensively trained in vocal skills, dance, acting, attitude when debuting. Rainbow Bridge as a management covering Anggi, Adisty, Febri, Sania, Maria and Yeye,. Twelve hours every day (except Sundays and holidays) they live in the form of vocal training and dance.
On February 14, 2013, they finally debuted as SOS (Sensation Of Stage). Girl group released their first mini album titled "Start Of Sensation" consisting of 4 songs. Their debut single titled "Drop It Low", was released in 2 versions; English and Bahasa Indonesia. "Drop It Low" was also made by a famous South Korean composer Seo Yong Bae. For Lyrics Indonesia version itself is written by Indonesian novelist named Valiant Budi Yogi. MV/video clips of their debut single have been broadcast in 64 countries in Asia and Europe. The second single titled "Independent Girl" was also released in 2 versions, English and Bahasa Indonesia.
SOS consists of six members named Maria (Maria), Sania (Sun), Adisty (PB), Anggi (AG), Febrianty (JL) and Yeye (Yeye). Their fanclub is named 911 (nine one one), identical to their emergency concept of their SOS name. Fans also give a nickname for each member such as Mary (Main), Sun (Sunshine), AG (AGorgeous), PB (PBeauty), JL (JLstars) and Yeye (Yeyeverss). SOS is the first Indonesian Girl Group to be the result of cooperation between Indonesia and Korea under the management of YS Media Entertainment and Rainbow Bridge Agency.

Mini Album
The first mini-album, titled Start Of Sensation contains 4 songs. This album contains their best songs "Drop It Low" (Indonesian and English versions) and "Independent Girl" (Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris). Their album concept is more directed to Rock Girls/Bad Girls. Seen in the costumes they wore on the song "Drop it Low". Drop It Low tells the story of a woman who abandoned her boyfriend and then she wakes up to go and change all appearances in order to get revenge on her boyfriend that she is not old, it's sad that her boyfriend is gone. As for the song Independent Girl is a continuation of the song story "Drop it Low" to whom he became independent and strong woman who lives in his lover's post.
On September 21, 2013, SOS finally released a second mini-album titled "The 1st Love". Where this album is a continuation of the story from the previous album (Start Of Sensation). In this album, the story in the song is more directed to women who are in love. Evident from the song "Tik Tok" where the song tells the story of a woman who is waiting to fall in love again. Followed by the song "Cherry Love", where the song is a continuation of the story of the previous song "Tik Tok" which tells us that he found his other love/fall in love again. For "Show Me Love" more leads to the story that she expects her love in return. And a new concept for SOS, more Girly or feminine and sexy, it is evident from the change in costume style of each member.
