Attunement is a form of energy treatment originally developed by Lloyd Arthur Meeker (1907 - 1954) and his colleagues. Meeker teaches and practices Attunement as the main characteristic of his spiritual teaching and ministry, the Divine Light Envoy. Attunement is taught as a personal spiritual practice and as a healing modality offered by hand. The Divine Light envoy believes that Attunement is an important factor in conscious human evolution.
Such as Qigong, Reiki and Therapeutic Touch Attunement are alleged practices as defined by the United States National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH), lacking in published scientific studies on their effectiveness. Rescue and client practitioners rely on personal and anecdotal experiences to promote it.

History
Beginner
Lloyd Arthur Meeker shared his first Attunement with Rudolph Plagge in Wichita, Kansas, in 1929, and developed the teaching and practice of Attunement with colleagues until his death in 1954. From 14-16 September 1932, Meeker had a spiritual awakening experience which he described as " heavenly. " He marked the experience as the initiation of the Divine Light Envoy. That same year he instituted a series of experiments on energy medicine. Meeker reports that he can stand across the room from clients and clients can feel the intensification of life force. He also reported excellent results when his hands were one to six inches from the client.
Lloyd Arthur Meeker writes and gives a lecture using the name Uranda, which is how he is known to his followers. From 1935 to 1945, Meeker traveled across the United States and Canada, establishing spiritual healing and teaching centers for various periods of time in Atascadero, Oakland, Burbank and Long Beach, California; Buffalo, New York; Grand Forks, Iowa; and Loveland, Colorado. In December 1945 Meeker set up his headquarters at Sunrise Ranch in Loveland, where Attunement continues to be taught and practiced.
Role of G-P-C Chiropractors
The G-P-C movement plays an important role in the development of Attunement. G-P-C stands for God - Patient - Chiropractor. It was the no-cost system of service that George Shears made in the late 1930s after himself, possessing a very crippling discs, and vowed to offer his services on a donation basis. Shears had become a Major League Baseball pitcher in 1912, and then graduated from the Palmer School of Chiropractic in 1917. He experimented with chiropractic adjustments "without style" in which he believed it was a healing energy through his hands that brought positive results. , indicated via x-rays. The G-P-C movement looks at the relationship between chiropractors and patients as the basis of triangle with God at the top. Meeker finally embraced this model for a healing relationship.
In 1949, Albert Ackerley, a G-P-C chiropractor in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, was introduced to the writings of Lloyd Arthur Meeker. In June 1949, when Ackerley prepared to offer adjustments to his patients, he noticed that the patient's spine had been aligned before he made adjustments. He believes that this result is a consequence of the subtle flow of energy between himself and the patient, rather than physical intervention. Ackerley met Meeker in July 1949 and began practicing Attunement under his guidance. Up to this point, Meeker has referred to Attunements as "care." It was Albert Ackerley who named the treatment "Attunements." With Lloyd Meeker's insistence, Ackerley began experimenting with long-range Attunements where the person receiving the Attunement was not in the practitioner's physical presence. Albert Ackerley and G.P.C. The President, Virgil Givens, both are prosecuted for their energy treatment practices, but are still practicing.
In May 1950, Lloyd Arthur Meeker met George Shears. Meeker's meeting with Shears was followed by a G-P-C meeting at the Chiropractic Convention in August 1950 in Davenport, Iowa, and then the G-P-C conference in Huntingburg, Indiana, attended by Meeker. After this event, about twenty-five chiropractors attended the G-P-C Convention from September 2 to 8 that year at Sunrise Ranch.
The prospect of joining Meeker and Emissaries of Divine Light raises suspicions and concerns amongst the G-P-C chiropractors. Nevertheless, at the G-P-C Convention at George Shears' home in Huntingburg, Indiana, on 24 and 25 February 1951, the G-P-C board of directors chose to work with Utusan to establish the G-P-C Server Training School at Sunrise Ranch. Lloyd Arthur Meeker presided over three GPC Server sessions of the Six-month Training at Sunrise Ranch from 1952 to 1954. The classes of the 1952 session were transcribed and published as The Divine Design of Man, # 1 and # 2. Audio recordings and the Meeker class transcripts from 1953 sessions and 1954 still exist. Sessions include Attunement techniques, nutrition, psychology and a broad spectrum of spiritual teachings.
In August 1954, Lloyd Arthur Meeker, his wife, Kathy Meeker, Albert Ackerley, and two children died in a Meeker small plane crash in San Francisco Bay. A close associate of Meeper, Martin Cecil, took responsibility for the leadership of the Emissaries of Divine Light and to carry out the Attackment Meeker work. With help from G-P-C chiropractors, James Wellemeyer and Bill Materials, and from Roger de Winton, Alan Hammond and others, Martin Cecil continued the Server Training School at Sunrise Ranch and Attunement teaching. George Shears eventually moved to Sunrise Ranch in 1968 where he practiced Attunement until he died in 1978.
Development
As the Divine Light Envoy grew up in the 1960s, 70s and 80s, so did the teaching and practice of Attunement. Martin Cecil stressed in his teaching about Attunement that the basis of it is spiritual practice. While many practitioners of early Attunement are chiropractors, ordinary people become increasingly active in practice. Building on the original work of Lloyd Arthur Meeker, Attunement evolved to include a group of people practicing together. In 1993, World Blessing's time was set for practitioners to share the time of Collective Salvation and healing prayer. In the 80s and 90s, remote retention teaching and practice was further developed.
After Martin Cecil's death in 1988, his son, Michael Cecil, became the Spiritual Leader of the Messenger. In 1996, Emissaries of Divine Light formed the Attunement Guild, which sets the standard for teaching and certifying Attunement practitioners. A group of Attunement practitioners, including Chris Jorgensen and Andrew Shier, formed the International Association of Practitioners Attunement (IAAP) in 1999. The IAAP developed and taught separate Attunement practices from the Emissaries of Divine Light organization. Roger de Winton continues his Attunement training through Attunement Intensives offered at Sunrise Ranch. He also continued his work of long-distance attunement until his death in 2001.
In 1996, Michael Cecil left the Emissaries of Divine Light to continue his own work, including Attunement through The Ashland Institute. A group of guardians assumes leadership of the Emissaries of Divine Light with the departure of Michael Cecil. In August 2004, the guardian of the Divine Light Envoy was named David Karchere as the leader of the global network. Since becoming Emissary leader, Karchere has developed programs, including Breathing Life and Life Destination to Fire, designed to help people change the spiritual and emotional factors that hinder the Attunement experience. In 2010, with other Attunement practitioners, David Karchere founded Attunement School at Sunrise Ranch.

Philosophy
Attunement is based on Lloyd Arthur Meeker's vision that the human body is designed to be the temple of God. The basic principle underlying Attunement is what Meeker calls The One Law, or the Law of Cause and Effect. The Divine Light messenger teaches that the factors that cause spiritual regeneration are universal forces and intelligence in all people, and that through the response and opening of that power and intelligence, people are healed. Salvation practitioners believe that positive change in consciousness releases healing energy through one's body, mind, and emotions. Traditionally, practitioners called Attunement as a server and the receiver is referred to as a servee.
Server attunements believe that they transmit universal life energy through their hands to the servee. The main point of contact to the servee is the endocrine gland. Server attunement teaches that the endocrine glands are the portals for universal life energies that operate through the physical body, and through the mental and emotional function of the individual, and that the servee has the opportunity to open more fully to the life energy in it through acceptance. an Attunement.
The Divine Light envoy argues that the origin of the universal life energy is a divine nature and that the core reality of all people is divine. The purpose of Attunement is to increase energetic flow while eliminating the flow resistance so that one's core reality can emerge.
Lloyd Meeker teaches that human relationships with universal life energy depend on pneumaplasma, which is his name for the aura of subtle energy, or the etheric body that surrounds the physical body. Salvation practitioners believe that pneumaplasm is generated when the universal life energy flows through a person, and that the pneumaplasmic body clarity depends on the clarity of the energy flow. Attunement practitioners focus on clarifying and enriching the pneumaplasma associated with the endocrine glands and the anatomical system of the body.
Practitioners believe that the endocrine glands translate seven aspects of universal life energy into human experience. They named this the Seven Spirits.
The attunement practitioners connect these Seven Spirits with the Seven Spirits of God referenced in the book of Revelation in the Bible. Some practitioners attunement connect seven endocrine glands with seven chakras.
Technique
The essence of teaching techniques is the formation of energetic circuits between the practitioner (server) and the client (servee). Practitioners seek to establish the circuit by transmitting life energy through the predominant hand of the practitioner to the gland or client organs, and receiving life energy through the opposite hand from the corresponding contact points in the body.
Meeker teaches that the first step in the Attunement process is the alignment of the cervical vertebrae by hand-healing energy radiation on both sides of the neck. Contemporary practitioners of attunement continue to teach attunement techniques that begin and end with the Attunement of the cervical vertebra. Often, cervical attachement is followed by the attunement of the endocrine glands and some of the major organs of the body.
Spiritual practice
As a spiritual practice, Attunement is meant to connect a person closer to their spiritual source and to open a stream of life. This exercise includes the conscious attention to the quality of the spirit expressed through practitioners in the daily life of life, and certain meditation periods at the beginning and end of each day, taught as Sanctification at Night and Morning.
The central aspect of Attunement as a spiritual practice is called by the Divine Light Envoy as the spiritual center, which they define as daily practice of opening the mind and emotions to the spiritual.
