One & amp; Done is a documentary film about Australian basketball player Ben Simmons and his travels from high school to elected as the number one choice in the NBA 2016 draft. In this film Simmons is very critical of the NCAA and how he treats his athlete and how he underestimate the so-called "one and do" athletes. The show aired on Showtime on November 4, 2016.

Summary
The film tells the NBA's number one plan trip, choosing Ben Simmons, from a relatively anonymous Australian education to high school and college in the United States, to the top of the novice class in the NBA. It captures Simmons and the inner circle as they realize lifelong dreams, while revealing the life of the campus at Louisiana State University no one outside the circle within Simmons and the university previously known. Simmons discusses how he really has no friends at LSU, as well as just a few basketball teams, and is bombarded with requests for photographs and signatures from his classmates at the university. Simmons is also very critical of the NCAA and paying athletes, whom he strongly believes they must do. He said, "[LSU] can not expect me to act like someone else if they do not treat me like someone else." Simmons disagrees with the NCAA and college by labeling them and other student athletes and making money from them while athletes themselves do not receive any compensation. The film recounts the team's struggle on the pitch, and culminated with the Simmons Philadelphia 76ers option as the first overall choice in the 2016 NBA draft.
