The Indonesian Navy (Indonesian: Indonesian National Army-Navy, TNI-AL) was established on September 10, 1945. The Indonesian Navy has about 75,000 active personnel and more than 236 vessels in active service. Indonesian Navy Equipment can be divided into: ships, aircraft, ammunition, small arms, vehicles, and clothing. It also includes equipment from the Marine Corps, KOPASKA and Denjaka special forces.
