Storage Wars (styled like WAR STORE <$ ) is the American reality television series on Network & amp; E which aired on December 1, 2010.
When the lease is not paid on storage lockers for three months in California, the contents can be sold by auctioneer as a single item in the form of a cash auction only. This event follows professional buyers who visit state-of-the-art storage facilities and bid on these lockers. Before each locker is auctioned, the buyer is given five minutes to check the contents of the door, but can not enter the locker or touch any items.
After the auction of the day is over, the winners of the auction sort out the lockers, estimate the price they will assign to the content and/or consult with experts for the assessment of unusual items. Total running on the screen displays the cost versus the estimated total value, and the final count at the end of the episode summarizes the net profit or net loss of the buyer.
