Synopsis

In the prologue, Lee's mafia (Sunny Pang) escaped from prison in a shoot-out that left dozens of detainees and guardians dead.

Two months later, a comatose man with an unknown identity (Iko Uwais) is being treated by Dr Ailin (Chelsea Islan) in a rural hospital on a small island. She awoke, but without a clear memory of how she was hurt or even her name. He adopted the name Ismael from Moby-Dick, which Ailin read. He learned he was found on the beach by a man named Romli (Yayu Unru).

Meanwhile, Lee and his henchmen Rika (Julie Estelle) and Iron (Very Tri Yulisman) vigorously wipe out rival gangs. One of the gang victims told Lee about Ishmael, and Lee sent the man to investigate. Ishmael and the villain quarreled shortly after the man threatened Ailin. Ailin traveled to the mainland to seek better care for Ishmael, but the bus was stopped by the Lee people, who sought Ishmael (whom they called Abdi). They killed every passenger but Ailin and a young girl, whom they kidnapped.

Called by Ailin, Ismael and Romli rushed to the scene of the bus attack. Ismail killed some of Lee's thugs who remained on the scene, but Romli was also killed. An Interpol agent informed Ismael about children kidnapped by Lee's syndicate and raised to be a faithful smuggler and criminal enforcer; Ishmael is one of these children. The agent was killed when a group of Lee's assassins attacked the police station in an attempt to take Ishmael/Abdi. Ishmael lowered the assailant and fled.

Ishmael then had to go to war with a syndicate to save Ailin. While traveling, he met Iron near the well, and it was revealed that he, Rika and Iron practiced together. Lee will put the kids in the well and make them starve. After a few days, he will put food there, and the child who killed all others to get food will be released. Ishmael tried to persuade Iron not to be on Lee's side, but Iron refused because of loyalty. They immediately entered the fight, and Ishmael won. After Iron died, Rika knew and attacked Ishmael.

Ishmael defeats Rika despite many wounds from the latter, and it reveals that Rika was the one who shot Ishmael and gave him a memory loss. When Rika holds Ismael at gunpoint, she can not force herself to shoot Ishmael again, and instead shoots away from Ishmael, wasting bullets. In confusion, Ishmael accidentally offered Rika a mortal injury by reflex throwing a knife. After comforting him in his last moments, Ishmael discovered Lee's hideout.

Meanwhile, a henchman will rape Ailin, but Ailin and the boy fight him, eventually shooting him with his own rifle. Ishmael and Ailin met each other, and although Ailin threatened Ishmael because he was kidnapped for their relationship, Ishmael convinced him not to, and they embraced. However, Lee arrives, and is very angry that Ishmael killed Rika and Iron, whom he considered his favorite "children". They then enter a brutal fight, with Lee getting his upper hand because of his strength. However, Ishmael finally defeated Lee outside, and stabbed him in a sharp branch of a tree trunk. In his death struggle, Lee will kill Ishmael by pulling him closer to the same sharp stem, but Ailin rescues Ishmael. Lee finally succumbed to his wounds, and died.

After the incident, Ailin began to recover at the hospital, with Ishmael badly injured. However, he wakes up with Ailin by his side, and Ailin smiles.
